Nice
The capital of the Côte d’Azur
When you stay at one of our apartments in Nice, you’ll be just three minutes on foot from the Promenade des Anglais. World-renowned, this magnificent wide south-facing avenue stretches along the coast and offers magnificent views across the Baie des Anges that stretches from Nice to the Cap d’Antibes.
A city overlooking the Mediterranean, Nice boasts a microclimate that has only added to its prestige (with 2,700 hours of sunshine per year). The very mild winter weather and the hot (but not too much so) weather in the summer allow you to enjoy all the Blue Flag beaches in Nice. In total, 20 public beaches and 15 private beaches offer sunbeds, parasols, cabins and showers from April to October.
Just 15 minutes’ walk from the apartments, Vieux Nice (Old Nice) is a colourful and picturesque place, lively all year round. No stay in Nice would be complete without experiencing this village atmosphere and wandering its narrow streets or the Cours Saleya, renowned for its food and flower markets. Alongside the bright red and yellow of the facades, fresh fragrances and flavours of spices and the food illuminate the atmosphere. Try some of the specialities of Niçois cuisine, with flavours that perfectly capture the sunny atmosphere of the Mediterranean. Taste the likes of socca, pissaladière, panisse, petits farcis, salade niçoise and pan bagnat.
With plenty of shopping, places for relaxing and for exploring, seaside strolls, nautical activities, cultural sites, and gourmet delights (our three restaurants La Pizza Cresci, La Taverne Masséna and Le Québec are a short distance should you wish to enjoy their warm atmospheres), Nice is a must-see on the Côte d’Azur.
